Waffle stitch crochet baby blanket
Designed by: Dana Nield

Learn how to crochet the waffle stitch! This deceptively easy stitch is comprised entirely of double crochets – yes, double crochets! Learn how to do front post double crochets in the right places to give your blanket texture that pops. This blanket would look beautiful without a border and I debated whether to add one, but in the end I love the way the simple moss stitch border gives the blanket a polished finish. I hope you enjoy this pattern!

Hi Aisha,
I believe she’s not using a code. In the section where the code usually goes I noted that it is a direct download on her site. I’m not sure what code you are referring to, but perhaps she will. I suspect she’ll get back to you soon.
Best wishes,

The code for Day 23 says that it's expired at the Ravelry link, when it shouldn't be, since it's still 10/23/2024.

Hi Jessica,
A lot of the designer’s leave their codes active due over 24 hours due to time zone issues so I often leave the code up a little longer.
Your message was posted at 1am - 1 hour after her feature day was due to end. It appears in the case of day 23 she did not extend her code.
However, she may still provide a free version on her site - worth checking into!
Best wishes,
RaeLynn

Thank you for organizing this blog hop with all its lovely patterns! Every one is beautiful. Question: Is there any way to purchase the poncho eBook without purchasing the Sweater Weather Essentials Bundle? Is it available on Ravelry or through another website? I was asked to make a poncho, and those designs look exceptional.

Hi Judy,
Awe... thank you so much! That truly means the world to me that you are enjoying the blog hop. :)
As of right now, I am not offering the poncho ebook anywhere except in combination with the Sweater Weather Essentials event. Although this may or may not change in the future. One of the poncho patterns in the ebook, the Hanesly Poncho, is unpublished so you cannot find it anywhere except in the ebook. However, two of them, are available here on my website. You can find the Pennington Poncho here: https://itchinforsomestitchin.com/easy-crochet-poncho-free-pattern/ and the Palomino Diamond Poncho here: https://itchinforsomestitchin.com/diamond-stitch-crochet-poncho-free-pattern/
I am so pleased that you like my poncho patterns and do hope that one of these will perfect for whomever you are making the poncho!
Best wishes,
RaeLynn
