Hello, I have a grow account; when I click on the black Get Pattern for the Houndstooth Sunglass case, I see the whole pattern and at the end of the pattern there is a Download Free PDF Pattern, but when I click on it, it takes me to Ravelry to purchase the pattern for $2.99. Just curious after seeing the previous posts how this is supposed to work to get any of the ‘free pdf’ patterns :).

Would you mind emailing me a screenshot of what you are talking about? There isn't a "Download free PDF Pattern" at the end of the post, if you can see the pattern (ie you are logged into your GROW account) there is a small "Download" button, but that button isn't a link. It doesn't go anywhere. It is connected DIRECTLY to the pattern, which is physically contained inside my website.
I have reviewed the post and I cannot find a download button anywhere that links to Ravelry.
I am curious if for some reason you are seeing a very old version of the post -- which may mean that either your or I or both of us need to clear our cache.
If you can email me a screen shot of the button you are talking about it might help me to figure out what's going on. My email address is [email protected]

How do I know if I already have a Grow account? I followed all the instructions as outlined on the main page, and even subscribed again to your email. I did find the downloadable pattern on your site - Took me a while, user error, I'm sure, - but I never saw an option to sign up for a Grow account. So I'm guessing I must have one?

Hi Barbara,
If you saw the actual pattern instead of a fuzzy section with a little lock symbol that says "subscribe to get this exclusive content" - it means you do have a GROW account and you are currently logged into to it.
You may have created one previously when downloading something from another designer and you stay logged in for a long time.
I know for my grow account I am logged sometimes for over a week or more and then somehow get kicked out and have to re-login.
Not a waste of time at all! Glad you got the pattern and I really hope you enjoy it! :)
