This pattern is written in US crochet terminology.
- Chain/s (Ch/s)
- Slip stich (Slp-st)
- Single crochet (Sc)
- Half-double crochet (Hdc)
- Double crochet (Dc)
- Treble crochet (Tr)
Special Stitches:
Magic Ring (MR) – form a loop with the yarn, crochet stitches into the loop while holding the tail, then pull the tail to close the ring snugly.

Instructions
Round 1: Make a magic ring and work 6 sc into the ring, slp-st to the 1st sc to close the round – OR – ch 6 and slp-st the first and last sts together to form a ring.
Round 2: Ch 3 (counts as a dc), work 2 dc into the 1st sc, *ch 3, 3 dc in the next sc*, Repeat from * to * 4 times, ch 3, slp-st to the top ch of the 1st ch 3 to close.
Round 3: Ch 6 (counts as a dc and a ch 3), *(3 dc, ch 3, 3 dc) in the next ch 3-sp, ch 3*, Repeat from * to * 4 times, 3 dc into the last ch 3-sp, ch 3, 2 dc in to the last ch 3-sp, slp-st to the 3rd ch from the bottom of the ch 6 to close the round.
Round 4: Ch 3 (counts as a dc), 2 dc in the next ch 3-sp, ch 3, *slp-st in the next ch 3-sp, ch 8, slp-st into the same ch 3-sp, ch 3, 3 dc into the next ch 3-sp, ch 3*, Repeat from * to * 4 times, slp-st into the last ch 3-sp, ch 8, slp-st into the same ch 3-sp, ch 3, slp-st to the top of ch of the 1st ch 3 to close the round.
Round 5: *Ch 3, 2 sc into the next ch 3-sp, slp-st into the ch 8-sp, [2 hdc, 2 dc, ch 1, 2 dc, 2 hdc] in the same ch 8-sp, 2 sc in the next ch 3-sp* Repeat from * to * 5 times, slp-st to base of the 1st ch 3 to close the round.
Round 6: *3 sc into the next ch 3-sp, sc in each of the next 2 sc sts, sc into each of the next 2 hdc, hdc into the next 2 dc, tr into the ch 1-sp, hdc into each of the next 2 dc, sc in each of the next 2 hdc, sc into each of the next 2 sc*, Repeat from * to * 5 times.
Round 7: Sc in the next st, *slp-st into the next st, ch 9, slp-st into the same st, sc in each of the next 6 sts, ch 2, slp-st into the same st as the previous slp-st, slp-st into the next 2 sts (ending at the top of the peak in the tr from round 6), ch 6, slp-st into the same st, slp-st into each of the next 2 sts, ch 2, slp-st into the same st, sc into each of the next 5 sts*, Repeat from * to * 5 times.
