- NICEEC 4ply 100% cotton yarn, color White, 1 skein /50g / 160m / 175yds
- 2.75mm steel crochet hook
- embroidery scissors

Abbreviations:
This pattern is written in US crochet terminology.
- Chain/s (Ch/s)
- Slip stich (Slp-st)
- Single crochet (Sc)
- Half-double crochet (Hdc)
- Double crochet (Dc)
- Treble crochet (Tr)
Special Stitches:
Magic Ring (MR) – form a loop with the yarn, crochet stitches into the loop while holding the tail, then pull the tail to close the ring snugly.

Instructions
Round 1: Make a magic ring and work 6 sc into the ring, slp-st to the 1st sc to close the round – OR – ch 6 and slp-st the first and last sts together to form a ring.
Round 2: Ch 4 (counts as a dc and a ch 1), [2 dc into the next st, ch 1], Repeat [ ] 4 times, dc into. the final st, slp-st to the 3rd ch of the ch 4 to close.
Round 3: Ch 4, slp-st into the next ch 1-sp, slp-st into the next st, [ch 6 (counts as a dc and a ch 3), slp-st into the 3rd ch from the hook, tr into the next st, slp-st into the next ch 1-sp, slp-st into the next st], Repeat 4 times, ch 6 (counts as a dc and a ch 3), slp-st into the 3rd ch from the hook, slp-st into the 1st slp-st of the round to close.
Round 4: Ch 13 (counts as a dc and a ch 10), *skip over the triangular cluster and slp-st into the slp-st between the two clusters (into the slp-st that was placed into the ch 1-sp in round 3 or into the ch 1-sp from round 3)*, [ch 10, repeat from * to *], Repeat [ ] 3 more times, ch 10, skip over the last triangular cluster, slp-st into the st between the ch 13 and the triangular cluster, slp-st to the 3rd ch of the ch 13 to close.
Round 5: Work 5 sc into the ch 13-sp, ch 4, slp-st into the 2nd ch from the hook, tr into the ch 13-sp, ch 4, slp-st into the 2nd & 3rd chs from the hook, dc into the ch 13-sp, ch 4, slp-st into the 2nd ch from the hook, work 5 sc into the ch 13-sp, slp-st into the next ch 10-sp, [work 5 sc into the ch 10-sp, ch 4, slp-st into the 2nd ch from the hook, tr into the ch 10-sp, ch 4, slp-st into the 2nd & 3rd chs from the hook, dc into the ch 10-sp, ch 4, slp-st into the 2nd ch from the hook, work 5 sc into the ch 10-sp, slp-st into the next ch 10-sp]. That is correct. It's because the crochet-a-long has just started. This is day 1. The dates of each pattern release are on the buttons by each image on the main event page. There will be one pattern per day starting today up until Dec 12th.
