Burr… it’s cold outside!
And that means winter is definitely on its way – at least it is where I live here in the Pacific Northwest anyway.
Time to trade in those light and flowy cardigans and shawls for thick wool sweaters, cozy cowls, and warm mittens.
It’s also time to think about all the projects you want to work on throughout the long winter months.
Fortunately, I did most of the work for you!
I’ve created a list of my favorite projects that are sure to keep you busy all winter long and I am sharing it with you.
You’re welcome.
13 Classy and Cozy Crochet Patterns That Will Keep You Busy All Winter
When I was a little girl winter was hands down my favorite season.
I loved sitting by the fireplace with a cup of hot cocoa watching the snow fall on the newly built snowman outside.
And of course, there was Christmas!
I mean seriously, what young child doesn’t love Christmas?
Yet, as I grew older…
I found myself trudging out in the freezing cold for a four hour commute to work on icy roads and the magic of Christmas was depleted a bit by the deleption of my pocket book each season.
So winter lost a bit of the luster it had when I was a youth.
Oh, don’t get me wrong. I still love it! For all the same reasons I did as a child.
It’s just not my favorite season anymore. It’s dropped a notch to number two on my list.
And that’s okay because winter still holds a special place in my heart.
You see, winter gives me something the other seasons don’t – extra time to work on my crochet projects.
Oh yeah!
The winter break keeps me busy crocheting and I am always looking for top notch projects to fill the time.
Fortunately, the projects on this list won’t disappoint!
