After creating the foundation chain, double crochet (dc) in each chain across to create a base of double crochets.
Work a series of extended stitches around the post of the double crochets on the base.
You complete half of the stitch, then skip a dc on the base, and work around the next dc post to create the 2nd half of the cluster.
Once the 2nd half is worked, yarn over and pull thru remaining loops on hook to close the stitch.
Double crochet into the next three double crochets on the base and then repeat the steps for the 1st & 2nd halves of the Leafhopper cluster stitch.
